This week and especially for the next 2-3 days, the states are expected to see rainfall, and locals are advised to take necessary precautions to safeguard their overall well-being.

In states of Odisha & West Bengal, the effects of heavy rains are likely to reduce by May 7 according to weather agency.

On May 5 in Odisha, heavy rainfall is expected in Kendujhar, Balasore, Gajapati, and Bhadrak. Rain will be slightly less in 7- 8th May.

Bengaluru is expected to observe continued rain showers with temperatures expected to stay between 21-34 degrees according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

This wet spell in Bengaluru is expected to last till tomorrow. Occasional rainfall and high temperatures are both expected this week, and the weather agency issued a warning of and heatwave later in many parts of the country.
