Our mental health is important for our survival in today’s world but it’s scary how climate change is affecting mental health as climate change has engulfed the planet from every possible angle and we are getting drained and squeezed on a daily basis.
Some extreme weather events like Drought, Earthquakes, Floods, Extreme Rainfall, Cyclones and similar events have already started affecting lives of millions of people around the globe while Global warming and impacts of climate change are being added issue in the recent times

Climate change is triggering our well being, weather and local atmospheric conditions and such scenarios affect our mental health in a direct way.
Climate change is causing environmental damage including eco-stress, eco-anxiety especially in the lives of young generation and this is a serious issue.
There are many ways how climate change triggers our mental health and it happens due to:
- Rise in global temperatures and local temperatures are triggering our physical and mental health, temperatures currently in tropics have crossed 40 degrees that’s affecting our health like nausea, heat strokes, headache, eyes pain, and much more
- Sea level rise is also an aspiring issue that affects coastal regions and affects homes of many people and affects their mental health
- Extreme weather events like cyclonic activities, droughts, wildfires, earthquakes, etc. often displaces lives of humans, any gets killed , while many gets injured, homes get demolished and this affects their mental health
- Global warming, pollution especially air pollution levels affect our mental health, emotional stability and gives us added brain pressure in a very bad way and cities like New Delhi are facing such issues
The psychological burden of climate change is systematic and is progressing to affect our future generation.
These events also put pressure on economic stability that also affects our livelihood chances, especially of labors and farmers who rely much on physical activities and there income source is affected by impacts of climate change.
Among the youngsters, eco-anxiety, i.e. worrying more about the environment is a growing factor ad this also gives headache to many who constantly are involved into such practices and environmental losses adds layers to their problems.
Some solutions to cope up with mental health involves practicing meditation, chanting Ishwar’s, Bhagwan or God’s name, and even doing Yoga regularly with mild stretching exercises.
Such things can help us to stay calm, at least reducing our mental health pressure up to some extent.
Climate change is affecting our mental health and even our physical health and a recent case study in Antarctica reflects that recently Penguins are taking action against climate change and it’s cool.
Nevertheless, Climate actions are supposed to be mandatory and we all are trying our level best in order to save the planet but at the global level, the speed of recovery is quite slow, and we need to accomplish our climate goals as soon as possible.
